7,000TEU Container Ship 'X-PRESS PISCES', built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding delivered to X-PRESS Feeders Group
On November 17, the 7,000TEU container ship "X-PRESS PISCES" built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, for Singapore's X-PRESS FEEDERS GROUP was successfully signed and delivered. After completing the full-year production and operation target ahead of schedule on the 6th of this month, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding continued to set new annual results and has now completed and delivered 23 high-quality ships and offshore products.
"X-PRESS PISCES" is the second ship built and successfully delivered by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding after the delivery of its sister ship "EA CHARA". In order to explore the feasibility of off-site shipbuilding business and fully tap the market potential, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has mobilized elite personnel to form a branch team to shoulder the important task of exploring new roads for off-site shipbuilding.
Under the constraints and challenges of the external situation, the branch relied on its excellent project management capabilities, strong shipbuilding strength and creativity to pioneer, innovate and overcome difficulties, and fully carried forward the shipbuilding spirit of Waigaoqiao shipbuilders who are good at tackling problems and dare to fight.
